New music – The Armed Man
The Musical Directors have discussed the next repertoire of music we will learn and one of the pieces we will learn is titled ‘The Armed Man’. For further information on the history of this piece, here’s a link to the Wikipedia page:

For us to rehearse this piece we will also need to purchase the music booklets. As it would not prove cost effective to photocopy this music for the choir, we will purchase the music in bulk and secure a small discount on this for the benefit of all our members. We’ve been really fortunate up to now to be able to use photocopying resources for our rehearsals, however this project will require a small purchase from members.
The cost therefore will be reduced from £8.50 per booklet to just £6.80 per booklet. I am sure you will agree this is a small outlay given that we’ve not had to purchase music up to now.
Once these are received, they will be available at rehearsals and members will be notified of their arrival.
