Do I need to audition?
There is no formal audition required to join Barnsley Singers. Please do come along on Tuesday evenings with your completed application form.
When and where are rehearsals?
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, 7pm to 8:45pm at the Barnsley Sixth Form College, St Mary’s Pl, Barnsley S70 2SR
How much does it cost to join Barnsley Singers?
There is no joining fee. Rehearsal fees are £5 per week, payable at each rehearsal you attend. Barnsley Singers are a ‘not for profit’ organisation, meaning any profits made are put directly back into the choir for the organisation of our events and the administration charges of running the choir.
Do I need to register?
It would be helpful to contact us before you attend a rehearsal, so we can register your interest and ensure you have all the relevant information you need in order to become a member of Barnsley Singers. A copy of the Registration form can be downloaded here
